What to Expect on Your First Visit

Our friendly staff and comfortable office environment are designed especially for our patients to feel welcome and well-cared for the minute they walk through our doors.

Upon arrival, our receptionist will ask you for your completed paperwork, which includes both our New Patient and Medical History forms (download here). If you have not yet had an opportunity to complete those, we will ask that you do so before we can begin any treatment. After we ensure we have all of the correct information we need, a team member will promptly bring you back to one of our clinical chairs. In-ceiling tv screens are available for those who wish to watch a movie during treatment.

During a check-up visit, you will see two professionals - first, one of our skilled hygienists will check your gums and teeth, clean and polish your teeth, and provide a fluoride treatment, if needed. Then, Dr. Lorscheider will come in and perform a thorough exam, answer any of your questions, and explain any additional recommended treatment to that you may need.

flossing regularly can help prevent dental pain

We like to include a take home bag for each of our patients. Inside you will find a new toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss, and chapstick, as well as a card with our contact information on it. This take home bag is a gift to you to ensure you have the proper tools to continue taking excellent care of your oral health.

Children are offered a special treat from our prize box as a reward for good behavior and are always invited to become members of our Kids Club. Healthy smiles start early!

As a reminder, we always welcome you to contact us ahead of time with any questions or concerns you may have about your visit. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible during your visit.
